HUNTINGTON RESERVE PLAYSPACE

Huntington Reserve Playspace is situated in the heart of the surrounding neighbourhood and serves the immediate residents. The playspace takes its cue from the adjacent stormwater pond and planting palette of a naturalised wetland. It captures the sinuous nature typical of naturalised wetlands with pockets of islands that are represented by the play equipment pieces, providing a wide variety of active climbing and balance trail experiences alongside the traditional slide, swing and spinning elements. The playspace sits amongst mostly native plants that are carefully chosen for their foliage and durability, in keeping with the wetland planting language.
