PAERATA RISE

Grafton Downs Limited is committed to the vision of creating an environment that fosters the development of a vibrant, well connected community. Following initial structure and spatial planning of the new town development by others, the Paerata Rise phase one landscape will manifest in a combination of medium and high density lots, a Community Park, Linear Riparian Park and associated off road walkways, recreational nodes and dedicated cycling route. Designed by Bespoke, the open space network including Community and Linear Riparian parks will create a contrasting appreciation of history, context and the natural environment whilst encouraging exploration. Proposed materiality respects the sites rural context and spaces are supported by street tree and native enhancement planting to enhance existing landscape amenity, character and ecological values. A range of green open spaces and gathering spaces for community events is also accommodated, providing for flexibility of use and opportunities for social exchange.
