ANJALI KANSARA
Landscape Architect
Anjali joined Bespoke in after completing her master’s degree in Landscape Architecture at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) in October 2021. Her interests in coastal boundaries and planning with community engagement led her to a thesis that looked at responsive resiliency through spatial planning. The thesis looked at coastal cities like Wellington where natural disasters and sea-level rise are significant risks to the urban fabric of the city. Her approach looked at reframing resilience from an ecological perspective where over time, unhabitual spaces in the city begin retreating and the urban use of land shifts away. Along with her studies, Anjali worked remotely on residential projects in Melbourne and Sydney as a freelancer. This has enabled her to gain knowledge of Australian planting and develop graphic skills. In her spare time, Anjali enjoys baking, travelling and learning about new cultures through food.
